Dwarfs Opponents in Contributions and Endorsements Across the District
(Cumming) - Mike Evans, Republican candidate for the 9th Congressional District in Georgia, filed his quarterly campaign contribution disclosure report today with the Federal Elections Commission showing broad support across north Georgia.

Evans reported $150,881.85 in total contributions from almost 250 donors. This amount does not include any personal loans to inflate the total.

His closest opponent raised only 2/3rds roughly of Evans' haul amount with the largest portion of that coming from fellow legislators.

The fundraising success comes on the heels of his announcement of the Evans NorthGA-JOBS Initiative to stimulate new job growth across north Georgia and his announcement of dozens of endorsements from local leaders in almost every county in the district.

Said Evans, "From working families to local elected officials, the people of north Georgia are hungry for a solid conservative leader who will stand strong for freedom and not blow around in the political winds. With Mike Evans, north Georgia families know they will get three things: more jobs, no pork, and a leader who will fight the Obama-Pelosi liberal agenda every step of the way.
