Evans Announces North GA-JOBS Initiative
9/11/2009
Will Fight for Jobs, Oppose Wasteful Spending and New Taxes in Congress
(Cumming) - Mike Evans, Republican candidate for the 9th Congressional District in Georgia, announced today his new North GA-JOBS Initiative.
"If elected, voters can count on two things from Mike Evans: No Pork & More Jobs. It's time Republicans stopped making excuses and end the incredible wasteful spending and bailouts in DC. Our country's future is more important than one pork barrel project. The most important thing north Georgia needs is not some bridge to nowhere but jobs, jobs, and more jobs.
"My Congressional Office will not be a taxpayer-paid campaign operation. We will transform my district offices into economic development coordination centers. My District Director will be an experienced economic development professional who will serve as a coordinator with cities and counties to help job creation efforts in each corner of north Georgia. And Congressman Mike Evans will travel anywhere, anytime to help recruit new industries and support local economic development efforts."

Congressional Office will help coordinate any federal and state assistance such as roads, rail, tax incentives, infrastructure, etc when a county or region in north Georgia is recruiting a new industry or business.
Congressman Mike Evans will take an active role in job recruitment and existing business retention.
