MIKE EVANS AND FAMILY PAUSE TO REFLECT ON ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11

CUMMING, Ga. -- On the eighth anniversary of the terrorist attack on America, Mike Evans, Republican candidate for Georgia's Ninth Congressional District, paused to reflect on the innocent men, women and children who lost their lives on September 11th and the heroes who died answering the call of freedom.

"I ask all Americans to join my family and I as we pause in remembrance of those who died on September 11th," Evans said. "I pray that the events of that day, tragic as they were, will somehow bring unity to a nation that is today divided along political lines.

"On this day, I find comfort in the words of President George W. Bush, who said: "This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace."

Evans added that America must never forget what happened on 9/11. "President Bush said, 'We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail.' To that I would add we will never, ever forget."
