Evans Signs the "No More Nancy" Pledge and Challenges Opponents to Do the Same
11/2/2009
Just when it looked like Nancy Pelosi's favorability rating couldn't drop any lower -- it did!
A Rasmussen Poll released Oct. 16 shows that Pelosi is the most disliked woman in Congress. Fifty-eight percent of Americans view the Speaker in an unfavorable light. Not surprisingly, 83 percent of Republicans view Pelosi unfavorably, including 70 percent who rate her very unfavorably.
In truth, Pelosi has done little to endear herself to the American voter, going so far as to label those who publicly oppose her health care reform bill as "un-American."
Americans not only dislike Pelosi, they overwhelmingly reject her radically liberal policies, particularly her version of health care reform.
After months of attempting to strong arm Congress and force feed the American public a bill that will bankrupt this nation, Americans are pushing back harder than ever. A Rasmussen poll released today shows support has dropped from 45 percent in September to 42 percent in October.
If you're as tired of attempts to socialize our health and Nancy Pelosi's polarizing leadership as I am, I ask that you join me in signing the "No More Nancy" pledge.
Democrat Congressman Parker Griffith, of Alabama, recently took a principled stand by publicly stating he would not vote for Pelosi for another term as Speaker. He said that "I am an American," above party. He harshly and accurately condemned Nancy Pelosi's leadership as "divisive" and "polarizing."
Stand with me and many more conservative Republicans and principled Democrats like Parker Griffith in opposition to Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of OUR House.
I signed the No More Nancy pledge. I encourage every north Georgian, and especially challenge my opponents in this race, to do the same at www.NoMoreNancy.com.
Stand strong for freedom and sign the No More Nancy pledge today!
Standing Strong,
Mike
